Cleaning bottled water coolers
Cleaning the
dispenser is not complicated. The first step is dismantling the units. Unplug
the water cooler then remove the water bottle.
Discard any
water present in the bottle then refill the water bottle with 1 table spoon of
bleaching agent and fill hallway with hot water. Shake the bottle well for
about 30 seconds with your hands placed on the bottle opening.
Flip the bottle
over and release the water from the bottle through a facet. It is time to
separate the water bottle from its unit and rinse the bottle with hot water.
Fill the
dispenser with hot water while releasing form the facet. Repeat this step at
least four times to ensure that all the bleach is wiped out. Finally wipe the
facets and handles of the water dispenser with damp sponge.
